Window Frame

Grand Union Walk in Camden is part of a 1980s redevelopment by J Sainsbury, with residential buildings designed by Nicholas Grimshaw and Partners. Completed between 1986 and 1988, the terrace sits beside the canal and reflects the site’s industrial heritage.

Following the vision of homeowner and architect, I built a custom window frame and internal shade panels to improve light control in the bedroom. The piece features a plywood bent-lamination, adding a crafted, sculptural element to a practical solution.
